Celebrating the 91st Foundation Day: In anticipation of its 91st Foundation Day on October 8, the Indian Air Force has organized a special fly past event in Bhopal. Distinguished guests, including Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, along with senior Indian Air Force officers, will grace the occasion. The public is invited to enjoy the event at no cost by gathering around the expansive Badi Lake, where women pilots will also play a significant role.
Aerial Thrills and Air Show Theme: Air Marshal Vibhash Pandey, the AOC-in-C Maintenance Command of the Indian Air Force, shared that 65 fighter aircraft will enthral spectators with extraordinary stunts. The event follows the theme “Air Show Power Beyond Boundaries.” Twenty-one aircraft will take off from Rajabhoj Airport, three from EME Centre, and additional fighter aircraft from Agra, Gwalior, and Ghaziabad will join the spectacle. The event will be live-streamed on popular social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
Featured Aircraft and Helicopters: Attendees can anticipate witnessing the prowess of aircraft and helicopters like Tejas, Akash Ganga, Chinook, Rudra, Badal, Shamsher, Trishul, Sarang, Jaguar, and Surya Kiran during the fly past. Over 400 pilots and officials from across the country are set to participate, promising a dynamic and captivating event.
